We are Marvin and Ruth Stark, hailing from Northern California . This site is a history of our sailing experiences over the years. We started sailing Hobie Cats in Saudi Arabia in the 70's, then sailed Corsair Trimarans in various parts of the world, finally moving up to Catana Catamarans. We bought our first Catana 44 "Chesapeake" in France in 1998, then moved up to a Catana 471 "Toucan Tango" purchased in Malaysia in 2008, followed by a Catana 431 "Toucan" that we picked up in St. Martin in 2014. In February 2017, we sold Toucan and had planned to give up ocean sailing in favor of land travel in our small motorhome. After a lot of soul searching, in late 2018 we returned to St. Martin and bought "Microbe" a Nautitech 44 catamaran our present, and last boat.
